Communication Sent to Bethels
Expressions of interest are now open for two Queensland Daughters to serve as Daughter Voting Delegates at the 2026 Supreme Session of Job’s Daughters International, held 20–25 July in Springfield, with the option to participate in person or virtually. Interested members under 20 as of 20 July 2026 are invited to submit a short response about representing Queensland and ensuring members’ voices are heard to secretary@jdiqld.org by 28 March 2026.
The letter explains that upcoming Australian social media age restrictions will not change how Job’s Daughters Queensland operates, as communication has always relied on email and inclusive practices that do not require members under 16 to use social media, with existing policies already meeting national safety standards.
The letter explains that Job’s Daughters Queensland holds annual insurance on behalf of all Bethels to ensure members and volunteers are protected during authorised activities, and that Bethels have been invoiced for their share to maintain continuous coverage.
